Garibaldini Medical Officer Jacket
rare relic, datable to the Sicilian Campaign of 1860/61: in scarlet cloth with black profiles, badges of the Sanitary Corps, embroidered trophies in gold goblet depicting caduceus applied to the lapel, grade chevrons in plate surmounting the handguards, lining of burgundy canvas bearing the "Waygand Napoli" sartorial label. the jacket is accompanied by two medals from the Risorgimento. It maintains the beautiful original half boulle buttons and appears entirely hand-sewn in the period. in good condition with nice period patina. Very interesting
