Helmet of the Papal Civic Guard
in black varnished boiled leather, with trophy, profiles and tip -in the version for service seal- in gilded brass, silver / gold metallic cockade applied under the left earring, green silk cap with leather allude below, worn but almost intact, the original still present); preserved in its cylindrical wooden box, on whose lid is applied & nbsp; bearing brass plaque engraved with the legend "Helmet worn by my great-grandfather Sardi Emilio / Papal Civic Guard / In Rome on July 2 & nbsp; 1849 end of the Roman republic"; in good condition with honest period patina; particular relic, fascinating for the rare possibility of being able to link it to a name, suitable for a sensitive collector
